VISION
The Life Skills Project, an initiative of Civic Knights, is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that life skills are a part of educational curriculum beginning as early as middle school.
These Life Skills include but are not limited to:
Financial literacy, banking and investment
Home economics and household management
Health, wellness, and long term self-care

In pursuing the Life Skills Project’s mission we are guided by the following Core Values:
We will only support programs for which we have solid, scientific evidence for their efficacy from randomized, controlled clinical trials and effectiveness in real world applications.
We will only support programs that have value and will be enjoyable and user-friendly.
MISSION
With recent research supporting the concept that traditional education is lacking in the preparation of students to meet the challenges of adulthood, LSP’s mission is to invest in, fund and produce tools that support the development of productive and responsible adults.
To advocate for the implementation of life skills curriculum in- and outside of the classroom beginning in a student’s formative years, introducing and ingraining these concepts in them from an early age, thereby giving them greater chances at success in life.
To empower educators with engaging digital and non-digital tools and resources to enhance their current curriculum to be inclusive of lessons on life skills. These include but are not limited to brochures, books, tutorial videos, websites, and digital games and apps.
To invest in, fund, and/or produce engaging and entertaining digital and non-digital tools and resources accessible to parents in order to teach life skills from home. These include but are not limited to brochures, books, tutorial videos, websites, and digital games and apps.
To invest in, fund, and/or produce digital and non-digital tools and resources to empower youth to effectively manage emerging life issues by applying skills, analyzing options, and strengthening interpersonal competencies through an interrelated curriculum. These include but are not limited to brochures, books, tutorial videos, websites, and digital games and apps.
